Built atop a large sanitary sewage overflow storage facility near the northwest corner of Lake Superior, Sister Cities Park honors the Zenith City’s sister cities of Vaxjo, Sweden; Petrozavodsk, Russia; Ohara-Isumi, Japan; and Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada—and connects the Lakewalk to Lake Place Park. It features beautiful gardens and artwork symbolic of the four cities.
